EquipmentShare is searching for a Financial Systems Analyst for our corporate Financial Systems Analytics team, which is part of the Business Analytics department. This new team member may be based anywhere in the United States and offers a remote/hybrid work option. Our corporate headquarters are in Columbia, MO, with satellite corporate offices in Denver, CO, and Kansas City, MO. As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will use your finance, accounting, and data expertise to act in a functional/technical role to help implement and effectively integrate CRM and ERP functionalities for Equipmentshare’s Technology Sales Division. Projects are wide ranging and could include anything from subscription billing, supply chain, procurement, sales and marketing, project management, payment workflows, financial reporting, and revenue recognition. This new team member will solve problems and provide solutions that directly impact the company.
Primary Responsibilities / Qualities for a Systems Analyst
- Apply Data Warehousing and Advanced-level SQL skills to develop custom inter-system invoicing and revenue recognition workflows, dashboards, and automated solutions.
- Accelerate and automate data delivery for our technology sales payment solutions using Business Intelligence (BI) applications such as Looker or PowerBI.
- Utilize Accounting, Bookkeeping, Internal Auditing, AND/OR Sales & Marketing experience in tailoring our custom inter-system data solutions to an ongoing sales process.
- Participate in an agile development project environment that seeks to deliver custom solutions promptly and document all sub-projects for stakeholder visibility.
- Design a custom inter-system Sales Order Project Management solution that integrates with the technology sales automation and revenue recognition workflow.
- Manipulate tabular results of sales data workflows using analytics and visualization tools such as Alteryx
- Configure inter-system integration touchpoints using workflow automation software such as Zapier or Postman
- Apply System architecture, data migration skills, and experience in configuring inter-system data flows and integrations
- Be a team player. Be willing to pivot on tasks to deliver the most important company needs.
- Overcome complex inter-system architecture by being detail-oriented, diligent, studious, and energetic daily.

Skills & Qualifications for a Financial Systems Analyst
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Computer Science, or other technical degree. Coding and/or Accounting Certifications will also be considered.
- Requires 1 year of experience in Sales & Marketing, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or specialized Data Analysis in any of these fields.
- Requires 1 year of professional experience using SQL to solve problems
- Experience with Analytics and Visualization tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, or Looker (Preferred).
- Comfort working in a highly agile and fast paced environment and participating in project teams.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
