Finance Systems Manager

 

We are seeking a dynamic leader with deep expertise in managing systems to oversee and enhance our existing platforms while evaluating and introducing new technologies that improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for Finance applications, ensuring systems are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The Finance Systems and Process Manager will lead system analyses, manage enhancements and upgrades, and guide the adoption of new tools and functionalities across the Finance function.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

System Leadership & Enhancements

• Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and enhancement of core Finance systems, including Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
• Manage system upgrades and ensure seamless integration with existing processes
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement

New System Evaluation & Implementation

• Research and recommend new Finance technologies that drive efficiency and accuracy
• Develop business cases for new systems, including ROI analysis and implementation strategy
• Lead cross-functional efforts to introduce new tools and ensure successful adoption

Functional Expertise & Governance

• Serve as the Finance systems subject matter expert, advising leadership on technological trends and best practices
• Define and maintain a Finance systems roadmap aligned with organizational goals
• Ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across all Finance platforms

Collaboration & Support

• Act as the liaison between Finance, IT, and other departments for system-related initiatives
• Provide guidance and training to Finance teams on system functionality and enhancements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• 3-5 years of financial systems experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in finance and accounting principles
• Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products specifically Excel and SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Business processes, configuration, integrations, reporting, security and product support
• Digital transformation coursework or prior experience in a digital workforce environment
• ERP (Workday preferred, but Oracle or SAP experience is a plus)
• Forecasting applications (Adaptive Planning preferred)

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $111,500 to $148,500 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.​
