We’re looking for an inquisitive, data-driven, and hands-on professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team as Senior Strategic Finance Analyst.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a company on the verge of becoming the household name in consumer credit cards for the 50% of Americans who are not served by traditional financial institutions.
The Impact You’ll Make:
You’ll drive forward our mission of empowering people to unlock financial progress by owning and significantly enhancing our monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, leveraging our new FP&A platform to deliver automated and insightful executive and management reports, and beginning to translate complex financial data into compelling narratives that drive business decisions during a critical and exciting period of company growth.
What You'll Do:
- Own monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting responsibilities for FP&A, including executive and management reports, and quarterly board assessments.
- Implement and expand capabilities of our new FP&A platform in an effort to streamline processes and ensure reporting is automated and strategic focused.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders across Finance, Capital Markets, Treasury, Accounting, and business teams (Credit, Growth, Operations) to understand forecast drivers and collect budget inputs and assumptions.
- Contribute to value-add strategic analyses and initiatives, including but not limited to potential deep dives into vertical performance or broader forecasting efforts.
- Support and ultimately lead efforts in budgeting and financial forecasting, including expense, reserves, and short-term cash modeling as you grow in the role.
- Use data as an investigative tool to drive efficiencies and analyze performance variance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic analytics, business analytics, or investment banking within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Familiarity with GAAP financial statements.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Ability to use data as an investigative tool to drive efficiencies and analyze performance variance.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex financial projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the consumer credit industry.
- Previous experience using EPM tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive, OneStream, Oracle, SAP, etc.), especially in implementing or enhancing them.
- Previous experience modeling all 3 financial statements.
- Familiarity with ACL reserves and CECL accounting standard.
- Experience with data analytics in Python or R.
- Familiarity with LLMs and other AI tools.
Compensation:
Annual full-time base salary range: $118,000 - $140,000
Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program and equity are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
