We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Corporate Finance function that supports Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), which provides the planning and reporting required to facilitate investment decisions and manage the business. The responsibilities of our team include creating tools and identifying indicators to evaluate performance, creating frameworks for evaluating investments, developing tools for business leaders to achieve their goals, and driving business partnership through operational excellence.
Qualifications
You Will:
Develop and maintain financial models and templates that will be used by team members globally, ensuring that the models evolve to business needs and changing requirements
Analyze and communicate results and important insights to senior partners, including preparation of board materials
Develop and implement recurring financial deliverables over monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year time horizons
Build trust and collaborate with business partners across varying teams
Conduct ad-hoc analysis in specific areas that are top-of-mind for the executive team
You Have:
5+ years of professional experience including 3 years' experience such as working in FP&A or business partnering, and/or in an analyst role in either an investment bank or management consulting firm
Experience in a retail and payments/technology and/or public company with global operations
Familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Excellent proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions)
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau)
Ability to effectively work with peers and different levels of management
Strong communication skills, detail oriented, can work in flexible environments
Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or related business field

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600
Zone B: USD $116,800 - USD $142,800
Zone C: USD $110,500 - USD $135,100
Zone D: USD $100,500 - USD $122,900
