The Global Patriot Finance Team in the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) SBU is seeking a motivated Senior Program Cost Controls Specialist (P2) to support the Spain Patriot production and technical assistance portfolio. In this role, you will report to the Poland Patriot Business Manager and collaborate with Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, and RRL Spain partners to ensure financial integrity, compliance with Earned Value standards, and program execution excellence.
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work is preferred at the Tewksbury, MA location. Tucson, AZ, Huntsville, AL or McKinney, TX may also be considered. Relocation is not being offered.
What You Will Do
Program Management & Financial Support: Assist with cost and schedule integration, manpower forecasts, Budget Change Requests (BCRs), monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs), and external U.S. Government financial deliverables (e.g., IPMDARs and CFSRs)
Earned Value Management (EVM): Support the preparation of performance and staffing reports, variance analysis, and maintenance of EVMS processes while ensuring compliance with EV guidelines
Collaboration & Communication: Work as part of a collaborative finance team, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive financial execution, compliance, and program reporting
Financial Tools & Analysis: Use tools such as SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse (BW), Analysis for Office (A/O), RPlan, and PM Tools Suite to support financial analysis, efficiencies, and compliance
Independent Work & Multitasking: Operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and contributing to a high-performing finance team

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of related finance experience
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Experience with financial tools such as SAP, BW, APEX, PRISM, or similar systems
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads effectively
Basic understanding of financial principles and critical thinking skills to address stakeholder needs
Familiarity with Raytheon financial and accounting policies/procedures is a plus
Enthusiastic and detail-oriented, with a willingness to learn new tasks and take on challenges with strong written and verbal communication skills
