Job Description:

Location: We support US flexible working arrangements in the contiguous 48 states, however for this position the job requires on-site work daily in our Kansas City office.

The opportunity:  

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Print & Mail Fulfillment, the incumbent will support the delivery of the Digital Print & Mail Fulfillment department to all U.S. Business Units/Functional Areas.  

How you will contribute:  

• Managing staff including monitoring employee performance and cross training

• Creation and maintenance of procedures, job aids and training materials for business use including updating of departments Reporting mechanism

• Responsible for tracking performance, risk metrics and reporting to key stakeholders

• Collaborate with peers and additional stakeholders across SL to deliver on U.S. goals

What you will bring with you:  

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Print & Mail operations, functions, principles, and industry standards

• Strong leadership skills. Two or more years at a supervisory level or higher

• Work experience in a customer service-oriented environment

• Ability to work professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, vendors, and others with whom Sun Life does business

• Entrepreneurial mindset for working in a highly dynamic environment

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills including excellent team-oriented relationships

• Proficient research capabilities

• Ability to exercise good judgment in prioritizing tasks and attention to detail

• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written

• College degree or equivalent experience in Print & Mail operations
