Accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans for Rotary Wing, HUMS and Fuels product lines. Assigned as the chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Serves as the face of the organization to clients and customers. Has Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a specified value stream or group of value streams within a business segment or portfolio.

The Value Stream Leader (VSL) will communicate with management (and/or customers) through briefing packages, EACs, and technical proposals, Gate Reviews and present Program Plans that accurately reflect the program's health and must be achievable. Since there are generally no direct reports to the VSL in a matrixed organization, the VSL must have good communication skills to engage the team and functional management in order to achieve results. This will include working with section and department managers to ensure the team members have the correct technical skills to execute the program. The VSL must continue to evaluate the needed skills and develop high performing teams. Given the size and complexity of these efforts, delegation and supervision of work products is necessary to ensure technical results as well as cost and schedule.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Must be able to travel in support of business execution and growth requirements

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Military Background is preferred
• Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Previous program management experience preferred
• Previous engineering experience preferred
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is preferred
