This role partners closely with operational, finance, and compliance teams to ensure procurement operations meet regulatory, transparency, and audit requirements. The consultant leverages SAP best practices to enable efficient, secure, and compliant procurement cycles across sourcing, bidding, awarding, purchase order management, and vendor interactions.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze business requirements related to public-sector procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and compliance</li> <li>Configure and support SAP PPS components including Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Materials Management (MM), and procurement workflows</li> <li>Implement end‑to‑end procurement solutions aligned with public‑sector mandates, including transparency, auditability, and regulatory adherence</li> <li>Support integration between PPS and other SAP modules (FI/CO, FM, HCM, SD)</li> <li>Design and maintain bidding processes, tendering mechanisms, approval workflows, and contract‑management capabilities within SAP PPS</li> <li>Create functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, forms, and reports</li> <li>Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions</li> <li>Ensure data accuracy and compliance with public‑sector procurement standards (e.g., FAR, state contracts, grant requirements)</li> <li>Conduct user training and develop documentation tailored for procurement and compliance teams</li> <li>Suppo
