URW Northen Europe is an international team of about 140 employees based in the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark. We run a total of 7 assets including Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, Stadshart Amstelveen and Westfield Mall of Scandinavia.
We are looking for a driven Accounts Payable Assistant. You will be part of the Accounts Payable team, which consists of 6 people divided into three teams in Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Accounts Payable is part of the Northern Europe's finance department, which has 32 people. The role will focus on Dutch properties with opportunities for international exchange. The position is based in Amstelveen and starts immediately.

A large part of the work will be carried out in the SAP accounting system.
We are looking for someone who enjoys tasks of varying heights and has a non-prestigious approach. You have a high level of service, are accommodating, and are communicative with colleagues in the organization as well as with external contacts. At the same time, we believe that you enjoy working independently, where you can tackle problems and come up with ideas and solutions. We are looking for a driven employee.

What you will be doing…
Accounts payable (responsible for a shopping centre and/or a management company)
Regularly working from one of our centres
Bank bookings
Manual handling of invoices
Closing work related to accounts payable, reconciliations, and reporting
Reminders
Contact with suppliers
Developing systems and processes
Participating in and driving various projects (harmonization of processes within the region)
What skills, experience, and knowledge will you need to be successful?
Fluent in Dutch and English
Good knowledge of SAP
Good skills in Excel
3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to work towards deadlines
Communicative (both orally and in writing) and comfortable working closely with colleagues, internal and external parties
Experience working in a larger, global company is a plus
Post-secondary education in economics is a plus but not required
Accounting knowledge is a plus but not required
