As an intern at PetSafe Brands, you can expect to experience:

• Collaboration: You will be given opportunity to work cross functionally throughout PSB and gain experience working with different business units on a daily basis!

What projects/responsibilities would this intern be learning and taking on?:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant Summer Intern to join our finance team for the summer. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting processes, financial reporting, and analysis. You will work closely with our accounting team and contribute to daily tasks, helping to ensure accurate financial data and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Financial Record Keeping: Support the accounting team with tasks such as data entry, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
• Assist in Financial Reporting: Help prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Provide data analysis and report any discrepancies.
• Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank accounts, general ledger, and other related transactions.
• Support Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end closings, including journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Help analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies. Provide insights for decision-making and reporting purposes.
• Assist with Audit Preparation: Help prepare documentation and schedules for intern
