You Are:

As an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) Senior Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of providing in-depth knowledge and guidance in your area of expertise. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the IT strategies and solutions that drive the organization forward. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to solve complex IT challenges. Your ability to analyze system requirements and integrate various IT components will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of IT services. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in the SME domain, with a strong grasp of the technical aspects and the ability to apply them practically. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development life cycles, and project management methodologies will be beneficial. Your skill set should also include exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience with IT governance frameworks and an understanding of risk management principles will further enhance your effectiveness as an IT SME. In your capacity as an IT SME, you will be expected to lead by example, mentoring junior staff and providing expert advice to stakeholders. Your experience in designing and implementing IT solutions will be invaluable, as will your track record of successful project delivery. A history of continuous learning and professional development will demonstrate your commitment to maintaining expertise in your field. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, must be top-notch, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience with clarity and confidence. 

The Work:

• Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation
• Participate as needed in all phases of development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases
• Require specialization in particular software or business application utilized in an end user environment and keeps abreast of technological developments and applications.

Here’s What You Need:

• 7+ years experience with the following:
  • .NET, C#, Javascript, Java, Perl
  • Oracle, API Architecture (SOAP/REST), Git
  • Apache Solr, Bash Shell
  • Oracle Label Security, PL/SQL
  • Visual Studio Pro, Selenium
• Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of industry experence

• Advanced Degree
• 15+ years of industry experience
• Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
• Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
