As a Manager Government Key Accounts Medical Surgical Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Cultivating and nurturing strategic relationships within the federal healthcare sector to deliver innovative solutions that provide mutual value.
  • Developing and sustaining collaborative partnerships with key government stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Developing and executing business plans and strategies aimed at expanding sales and revenue within government accounts, staying abreast of market trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing new business prospects within the government healthcare landscape, leveraging industry insights and competitive intelligence.
  • Working closely with internal cross-functional and field sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with the evolving needs and priorities of government customers.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of 3M's solution offerings, effectively positioning them to address the unique challenges and requirements of government healthcare customers.
  • Providing timely and accurate reports and updates on sales performance, account activities, and market trends to senior management, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Conducting engaging and informative business reviews with clients, offering valuable insights into industry trends, cost-saving opportunities, key initiatives, and collaborative projects aimed at driving mutual value and success.

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (7) years of government related experience in a private, public or governmental environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND (11) years of government related experience in a private, public or governmental environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Possession of a graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets, showcasing a proven ability to drive results in a competitive environment.
  • Experience in change management, highlighting the ability to navigate and adapt to evolving market dynamics and organizational shifts.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and management, particularly in the context of government clients, ensuring compliance and facilitating successful contract renewals.
  • Strong aptitude for delivering compelling and impactful presentations, proposals, and reports, showcasing effective communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.

Work location: Remote

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic
