Job Summary

Government Affairs intern will work with Government Affairs team on policy research, development and advocacy communication across multiple states.

Job Description

Work with Government Affairs team on policy research, development and advocacy communication across multiple states.
Work with the Vistra company PACs on various activities.  
Work on a capstone project to be presented to Gov’t Affairs leadership at the end of the internship.
 

•Responsible for collaborating on the development of company policy positions on key priority issues on energy reforms, environmental, tax and finance, and emerging electric industry transformational opportunities.
•Monitor priority legislative committees and work with Government Affairs Public Policy to communicate key issues internally.
•Work directly with lobbyists to advocate company positions.
•Support PAC activities: communications, recruitment, giving strategies and some administrative activities.
