Field Industrial Hygienist

Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Technical background in asbestos, lead, and industrial hygiene surveys and abatement planning/oversight.
Willing to be flexible on project schedule to get work completed per client needs.
Performs site visits, field observations, and field data collection for assignments.
Routine maintenance of field equipment.
Assists in the collection and analysis of data from laboratory reports (sampling data), reports, maps, and drawings.
Tabulate electronic environmental and assessment data and assist with the development of corresponding reports.
Coordinate work with supervisors and other environmental staff.
May have limited client contact pertaining to specific projects/tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related science field and a minimum of 1 year related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
Pennsylvania Asbestos Inspector Certification or other Asbestos Certifications
Pennsylvania Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor Certification
