Role Overview:

Skyhigh Security is hiring a Senior Manager to join our Engineering Excellence organization, reporting to the VP of Engineering Excellence. In this leadership role, you’ll lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of the platforms that power our development lifecycle—empowering engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software faster and more securely.

Rather than just overseeing tasks, you will manage, mentor, and lead a high-impact team of engineers dedicated to delivering robust, automated, and scalable non-production environments and the core engineering tooling used across the entire engineering organization. Your impact will be measured by your ability to remove friction from the software delivery process and accelerate engineering velocity across all product domains.

You must have the deep technical leadership and people management experience to evaluate our current DevOps and Platform Engineering landscapes, align internal platforms with enterprise architecture, and ensure our systems remain cost-effective and secure. You’ll build highly collaborative relationships with Engineering leaders, Engineers, Cloud Operations, and Security stakeholders to ensure the environment and tooling strategy meets the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Define and execute a company-wide strategy for non-production environments and core engineering tools, including CI/CD build systems and AI productivity tooling.
Recruit, Lead and mentor a global team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement through personal development plans.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the developer experience by recommending and tailoring tooling solutions that balance developer autonomy with organizational standards.
Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated provisioning to reduce manual overhead and ensure environment parity between development, staging, and production.
Collaborate with Security teams to embed "Shift Left" practices and ensure data privacy compliance within all core tooling and environment configurations.
Monitor external trends in Platform Engineering and Developer Experience (DevEx) to keep the engineering stack modern and competitive.
