Now you have the chance to work as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer in a friendly team of skilled cloud professionals, building and running modern infrastructure with a strong focus on reliability, observability, and cloud governance.

Who is your future team?

You will be part of the Connected Infrastructure team within R&D. This team develops and operates core infrastructure and platform capabilities for the Axis Cloud Connect platform (https://www.axis.com/solutions/axis-cloud-connect), supporting product teams with robust, scalable, and secure foundations.

What you’ll do here as Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

You will take an active role in designing, building, and evolving the core platform infrastructure that enables our cloud services to scale and operate reliably. Your work will span from implementing observability tools and defining cloud governance practices to improving our Kubernetes-based service platform and supporting service reliability across the company.

You’ll work hands-on with technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DataDog, and collaborate with development teams to support their operational needs through platform tooling, SRE practices, and shared services.

As part of the team, you’ll also participate in a shared on-call rotation—designed to be sustainable, well-supported, and focused on learning and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a thoughtful and proactive engineer with a deep understanding of cloud platforms, operational excellence, and platform engineering. You’re passionate about building reliable systems and empowering teams through infrastructure. You thrive in a collaborative, DevOps-oriented environment, and you believe in taking responsibility for what you build and run.

You're experienced in improving the observability and reliability of complex systems and you know how to balance control and autonomy when designing cloud governance and platform tooling.

We’d love to hear that you have/are:

• Several years of experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem

• Experience building or running observability platforms (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)

• Familiarity with SRE principles and operational best practices

• Skilled with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools

• A passion for cloud governance, automation, and platform scalability

• Comfortable with participating in an on-call rotation and continuously improving system reliability

• Happy working in an agile and DevOps-oriented environment
