Your Career:
Unit 42 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our GTM Operations and Analytics team. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the success of Unit 42 by providing critical operational support to our GTM teams. You will be a key partner in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring the overall health of the business. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and collaborative execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a proven ability to execute.
The ideal candidate is a full-stack data science professional with expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data pipeline management, coupled with strong business acumen. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at translating data into actionable insights, and have a proven ability to execute cross-functionally.
Your Impact:
Data Science & Advanced Analytics
- Experienced with the end-to-end data science pipeline, from data collection and cleaning to model development and deployment
- Apply machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to solve business challenges and optimize GTM performance
- Develop optimization algorithms (e.g., linear programming) to improve resource allocation, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency
- Leverage feature engineering and data mining to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- (Bonus) Explore AI/LLM applications to enhance analytics capabilities
Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across GTM functions.
- Automate workflows and reporting using Python, SQL, and Google Cloud tools
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards (Tableau, Looker) to track business performance
Business Partnering & Strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership, providing data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and inform planning
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Support security transformation programs by analyzing data and improving processes
Project Leadership
Manage a portfolio of analytics and operations projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact
Qualifications
Your Experience
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques
- Experience with end-to-end data pipelines (ETL, feature engineering, model deployment)
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Google Cloud, AI/LLMs, and big data technologies
Analytical & Business Skills:
- 3-4 years of experience in data analytics/data science field required
- Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights
