Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking for an intern to join our Operational Excellence team to support the strategic growth and operational maturity of QinetiQ US. This role will present an opportunity to get involved with business processes and automation working collaboratively with the Heads of Strategy, Business Units, and Functions and gain professional experience working with a mid-tier US defense company.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the QinetiQ US Operational Excellence team to assist in governance and business processes to prepare for automation and standardizing internal task tracking and project plans
  • Assist with reporting from manual to automation, and automation to analytics
  • Develop briefings and white papers on strategic and industry topics

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Finance, Business, Engineering)
  • Proficiency in business processes and software solutions such as SmartSheet, Power BI, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with proven ability to work collaboratively
  • Mission oriented, interest in business analytics
  • Exposure and interest in the US Defense industry
  • Organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently on a project basis and meet deadlines
