Job Description: Sr. Geospatial Trainer/Outreach
The Sr. Geospatial Trainer/Outreach Specialist will design and deliver training programs and outreach initiatives for DHS geospatial systems. This is a brand new contract and the position is remote.cFocus Software is seeking multiple candidates for this role. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination, complete the Entry on Duty (EOD) process, and pass required background checks. U.S. citizenship is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop training curricula for geospatial tools and applications.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Create user guides, manuals, and tutorials.
- Organize outreach events and webinars.
- Gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, GIS, or related field.
- 6+ years in training and instructional design.
- 10+ years of experience required without a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with geospatial software training.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DHS training programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning methodologies.
