Come join the DES Team!<br/><br/>The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiter - Outreach Specialist. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.<br/><br/>Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.</span></p>

<span>Job Duties:</span>

<p><span>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<br/>● Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all recruitments for the division, including expert knowledge of healthcare recruitment strategies. Exercises independent judgment in the coordination and administration of all aspects of recruitment to ensure compliance with DES policies and federal and state regulations. Establishes complex recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans, classifications, and collaborates with hiring managers to execute staffing plans and activities to hire qualified individuals.<br/>● Completes full cycle recruitments, to include reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, collaborating with Hiring Managers on interview questions and access Personas. This would also include fully processing a candidate through conducting salary analysis and completing background and reference checks.<br/>● Drives to various locations and sourcing sites to conduct weekly presentations (virtual and in-person) to develop awareness and strengthen community partnerships with community colleges, trade schools, universities, relevant social organizations, and community businesses.<br/>● Conducts in-depth analysis of the job market to build talent pipelines through deepening community and academic institution relationships by participating in job fairs, & developing promotional material & social media tools. Identifies proactive sourcing strategies through utilization of Internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, cold calling, niche job boards & healthcare specialty boards to attract candidates.<br/>● Drives to various locations and sourcing sites to conduct DDD specific Hiring Events - to include sourcing, site set-up, scheduling, application assistance, and tracking metrics. Develops and updates sourcing and awareness presentations. Handles external postings for critical positions this includes collaborating with Business Operations for approvals.<br/>● Design tools to track candidates and metrics to track the effectiveness of the sourcing program. Collaborate with analysts to drive candidates to appropriate job postings based on their skills and interests.<br/></span></p>
