1st Shift Library Team Leader

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Library Team Leader. This position reports to the 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor and will work in Litchfield.
General Responsibilities
- Reviewing daily pick and/or pack errors with associates.
- Ensuring all totes are packed to meet deadlines while maintaining first-in-first out concept.
- Identifying special instructions to comply with customers’ requirements.
- Responsible for assisting to locate product to prevent backorders.
- Understanding and evaluating needs in your area and effectively communicating those needs to the Supervisor.
- Communicating with other departments about staffing needs.
- Continuously develop direct reports by coaching and grooming them for excellence. Document progress and ensure associates are cross trained to provide adequate coverage in key processes.
- Assisting with the evaluation of employee performance, maintaining an environment of respect and accountability to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- Tracking and maintaining productivity standards and assessing staff, supplies, and equipment needs.
- Maintaining “Tour Ready” clean and safe work area and securing building/operations at end of shift.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years or more lead experience
- Must be proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel) and operational systems/software (i.e. Fourth Shift).
- Must be dependable and have a good attendance record
- Must not have discipline warnings in last 12 months.
- Must be available to work required overtime
- Be able to multi-task and perform excellent communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner; possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately.
- Promote an environment conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness.
Note: Failure to maintain any of these qualifications may result in disqualification from the position.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift and perform manual dexterity.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Must pass the required job protocol physical test as administered by Apex Physical Therapy.
Training:
- Up to 2 to 4 weeks on the job training
