Role Summary:

Under the direction of the AVP of Infrastructure and Operation, the Infrastructure Manager oversee and manage Gesa’s IT Infrastructure. This This role encompasses the management of the network, data center, servers, backups, storage, and telecommunications. The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for design, strategy, availability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure, supporting business operations and growth.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Oversee the design, implementation, and support of Gesa’s datacenter and cloud based IT infrastructure
  2. Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security across all infrastructure
  3. Monitor and respond to incidents and problems using diagnostic/monitoring tools. Accountable for Identifying cause, recommend solutions, and coordinate and report status of repair/resolution
  4. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for IT infrastructure and services
  5. Oversee server operating system configurations, upgrades, and patches
  6. Implement and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  7. Ensure backup systems, recovery strategies, and risk management plans are in place, tested, and operational
  8. Oversee the management of storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage
  9. Oversee the organization's telecommunications systems
  10. Ensure reliable and secure communication channels
  11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  12. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support
  13. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
  14. Provide technical and interpersonal leadership, promoting accountability, innovation and teamwork within the Corporate IT infrastructure team to deliver results
  15. Conduct performance reviews and identify professional development opportunities
  16. Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  17. Coordinate with other departments to align IT infrastructure projects with business goals
  18. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, driving innovation to improve IT systems and operations
  19. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spending
  20. Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT assets
  21. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
