JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing processes and changes that result in creating a quality conscious environment which shows a reduction of defects. Works under the direction of others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works from blueprints, interprets engineering requirements and Configuration verifications.
· Knowledgeable of specification, Quality procedures and F/T requirements appropriate to the area of assignment.
· IQ Auditor.
· Inspects parts and ensures acceptable appearance, function, tolerances, dimensions and specifications.
· Completes and maintains a variety of inspection paperwork.
· Able to interpret and conform new model engineering change with feedback to Engineering.
· Understands and able to work MRB process.
· Proficient in business applications as required for the area of work assigned.
· Communicates with the FAA or other external auditors and customers.
· Possess certification/qualifications appropriate to assigned area.
· Communicates effectively and works well with others.
· Ability to perform flight release inspections deeming aircraft are safe for flight.
· Ability to interface with customer or customer representatives as needed on technical topics.
· Ability to operate in a safety sensitive repair station environment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
· Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and the use of drawings, specifications, basic math and technical knowledge.
· A&P License preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
· Requires 1-3 years relevant experience. Possesses a solid grasp of the technical skills necessary to perform the job and be willing to work in all areas of support.
