Location: This role can be hybrid or home-based.

 

Position Summary:

 

The Corporate Marketing and Communications team within Bentley Systems is looking for a creative and experienced content creator to support our growing executive thought leadership and communications team. We need an individual who can collaborate with senior management and key spokespeople to transform complex concepts into clear and compelling content that articulates our organization’s initiatives and priorities. If you are excited about bringing executive voices and perspectives to life, working closely with other communicators, collaborating across a global marketing organization, and working for a tech company that provides innovative software to advance the world’s infrastructure, we would like to talk to you.

 

Your Day to Day:

 

Support, develop, and execute an executive thought leadership and communications strategy that includes:

 

• Identifying and developing topics that align with executive branding, marketing communication, and global business goals.
• Supporting the development of executive and thought leadership communications plans.
• Writing Op-eds in support of communications strategy and plans.
• Working with public relations colleagues in support of media opportunities.
• Supporting keynotes and executive-level presentations.
• Preparing briefings, talking points, and other external-facing documentation.
• Curating content to support executive social media presence.
• Creating and polishing strategic communications with Bentley’s executives for internal and external audiences.
• Working with other marketers to support key spokespeople.
• Developing messaging and materials to support thought leadership.
• Collaborating with content and communications vendors and partners

 

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or advertising. A graduate degree is preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, content marketing, journalism, or political work. Experience working in a B2B technology company is preferred but not required.
• Track record producing content for business leaders and senior executives across a variety of media, including print, podcast, video, and more.
• Proven ability to capture voice and tone in written and oral content and communications.
• Ability to work in an agile environment with tight deadlines where priorities may change.
• Self-starting, growth-minded, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable and confident working with executives and senior management.
• A portfolio of work is required.
• Minimal travel is required.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
