Reporting to the Manager, North America Talent Programs, this position will play an important role in the strategy and execution of Nutrien Ag Solutions’ talent programs for new and current employees. This role requires well-developed communication and organizational skills and being able to work on multiple projects and priorities.
The candidate will ideally be in the Loveland, CO, area reporting into the office three days a week.
What you will do:
- Play a strategic and critical role in building, maturing, scaling our newly created talent programs for North America
- Leverage the program data and insights to track ROI and program successes
- Ensure effective talent management of rotational employees through performance reviews, career discussions, and council level talent reviews; leverage programs and initiatives driven by the COE such as mentorship, coaching and 360 feedback reviews in order to drive and support individual development
- Ensure rotations are consistently and efficiently managed throughout the program
- Consistently seek out new ways to innovate and evolve programs to deliver best-in-class experience and results; staying abreast of the latest trends, research and emerging talent theories
- Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams (in HR and in other functional groups) to complete tasks
- Develop and maintain effective internal communication strategies (marketing / communications plans for all stakeholders, etc.) to drive awareness and execution of programs across North America
- Responsible for coordinating activities associated with programs including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement
- Works in collaboration with the program manager and other teams to help to implement the program's objectives in support of identified goals and objectives
- Use learning management system (SuccessFactors) to track employee progression through programming
- Recommend new approaches/efficiencies to develop and maintain operational procedures and process documentation for plans
- This role may require 5-10% travel (depending on location) to our offices and other locations as needed to meetings, facilitate programs and trainings, etc.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Agriculture, OD, Human Resources or related field required
- A passion for employee development, especially those early in their career
- Minimum 6-8 years experience of education, training, human resources, etc
- Superior presentation, communication and story-telling skills; able to develop program collateral that conveys transformational concepts
- Technology skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint at intermediate level
- Experience working with the SuccessFactors Talent Suite preferred
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship building skills with all levels within the organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting required deadlines
- Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative to achieve desired outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with multiple groups and levels of the organization
Compensation & Benefits:
Salaray Range is between $90,400 - $124,300. This range is estimated for Sr Advisor, Talent Programs in Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
