About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Betterworks, you will be responsible for developing an enterprise-class continuous performance management system. You will:

• Build a complex talent management application that will drive decision-making at scale in large enterprises.
• Implement an architecture that will scale as the product grows.
• Ensure your code is reliable by writing unit tests.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve your objective.

What We Look For

• 5+ years of software development experience, ideally in both frontend and backend Javascript-based frameworks.
• Working experience with microservice architecture and REST APIs.
• Working experience with Postgres or similar relational databases and query analysis/optimization.
• Strong engineering practices - pair programming, test-driven development, git.
• NestJS, Koa, Vue, and PrimeVue experience are great plusses.
• Working experience in Python/Django is a plus.
• Exposure to SQLAlchemy is a plus.
• Experience with Scrum methodologies and remote teams is a plus.
