The College of Health and Wellness at NWHSU is pleased to offer a full-time Clinical Coordinator ranked faculty position in our Radiation Therapy Program. The successful candidate will share our vision of becoming a premier provider of Radiation Therapy Programs in the Midwest and will help advance that vision through their teaching. Faculty members will also contribute to the integrative health focused mission of the University, encouraging learning across all disciplines.
Through online and in person educational models and using the latest technology, this individual will help mold the next generation of Radiation Therapists. NWHSU recently invested in a dedicated virtual linear accelerator lab to enhance and support instruction in the program.
The Clinical Coordinator responsibilities will account for 25% of this role and teaching will account for 75% of this role. This full-time position will have both direct instruction and lab teaching responsibilities and will be assigned courses to teach in the program each trimester. This is a year-round, faculty position where academic rank and compensation will be determined by qualifications and experience.
Work Location: Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed.
Course Assignments May Include: Clinical Education training and other assigned RTH courses.
Duties:
- Manage course curriculum, design, development, and delivery to create an engaging and meaningful student learning experience.
- Achieve technological literacy, knowledge, and innovative use of modern teaching technologies including active learning and the use of computers and multi-media in lectures, laboratories, and distance learning environments.
