Position Information:

The College of Chiropractic at NWHSU is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated faculty member to teach in our Department of Practice and Professionalism. This individual will play a critical role in preparing future chiropractors by teaching courses in ethics, professionalism, clinic compliance and other core chiropractic subjects. Additionally, the candidate would be responsible for auditing clinical charts and reporting to clinical education. This position will support students in developing the clinical, ethical, and professional skills essential for a successful chiropractic career. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, is technology savvy, and works well within a collaborative environment.

This is a part-time, benefits eligible position, working 20 hours per week.

This is also a year-round, faculty position where academic rank and compensation will be determined by qualifications and experience.

Work Location: Bloomington, MN in-person

Course Assignments May Include:

Specific courses will be assigned within the department but will include a variety of topics related to chiropractic practice, professionalism, ethics, and business management.

Teaching opportunities outside the Department of Practice and Professionalism, as well as clinical supervision may also be available, and would be assigned based on individual expertise and experience, as well as the needs of the College of Chiropractic.

Duties:

  • Teach courses in ethics, professionalism, clinic compliance and other chiropractic-related subjects, ensuring students receive high-quality, engaging, and evidence-based education.
  • Develop and revise course curricula that align with institutional goals and current best practices in chiropractic care and professional standards.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations, that support the mission and vision of the institution.
  • Advise and mentor students while maintaining a responsive and respectful student learning experience.
  • Analyze clinical documentation, patient records, and healthcare practices to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and internal policies.
