About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Web Development Team Lead to spearhead our WordPress platform initiatives. In this role, you will manage a team of up to 5 developers and ensure the seamless execution of complex development tasks across both frontend and backend ecosystems. Your expertise in WordPress Multisite, custom development, and API integrations will be pivotal in delivering a high-performance, secure, and scalable web platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise
5+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on WordPress
Experience working with WordPress Multisite for managing multiple websites from a single installation
Familiarity with React, Vue.js, or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus
Deep knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Proficiency in REST APIs, custom plugin development, and API integrations.
Strong understanding of component based development, cron jobs, caching mechanisms, and performance optimization.
Backend & Database Management:
Experience with managing and optimizing large-scale WordPress Multisite databases.
Familiarity with query performance tuning and best practices.
Hands-on experience with cloud hosting, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
API Integrations & Automation:
Proven experience integrating with platforms like HubSpot, Allbound, and Everflow.
Understanding of API security and data management practices.
Testing & Debugging:
Strong experience in implementing unit tests, integration tests, and troubleshooting complex issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience leading a development team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
Knowledge of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with a “figure it out” attitude, comfortable taking initiative without waiting for direction.
