Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, WATA, Card Ladder, Goldin, and the Long Beach Expo collectibles trade show. Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

PSA is looking to add a Junior Ticket Authenticator and Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate is based near our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ office, but fully remote candidates who are open to occasional travel will also be considered.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify and authenticate event tickets (sporting events, concerts, etc.)
• Research by means of trade magazines, books and internet
• Provide opinion of authenticity to authentication staff for review
• Assist authentication staff with in-office and on-site processing
• Organize and collects exemplars
• Communicate effectively with other divisions including operations and customer services, and with external manufacturers and customers
• Maintain and update ticket database

Who You Are:

• Demonstrated expertise in tickets, our services, and the collectibles market.
• Self-motivated to continuously build base of tickets and collectibles knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with others effectively in order to resolve conflicts, solve problems and, most importantly, maintain and generate business.
• Organized in processing approach since performance is based, in large part, on the accuracy and speed at which the individual reviews submissions.
• Ability to deal with problems associated with processing, research, authentication or other related issues. 
• Maintain solid working relationships with fellow employees, especially in operations, to maximize performance.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, to easily work with the authentication, research, and operations staff.
• Strong research and cataloguing skills; resourceful and familiar with relevant trade magazines and websites.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $57,920 - $109,912. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
