The role reports directly to the Global Customs &amp; Trade Compliance director.</span></p> <p><span><strong><span> </span></strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>As our Senior Manager Global Trade Compliance &amp; Optimization, you will report directly to the Global Customs &amp; Trade Compliance director. You will lead the Global Compliance &amp; Optimization Team (GCO) and ensure compliance with applicable regulation as well as drive global trade compliance and continuous improvement initiatives including customs automation of central tasks. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>The role requires an excellent level of knowledge of both operational and regulatory areas of customs as well as the capacity to conceive, orchestrate and deliver continuous improvement projects. Strategic vision, people management experience, data analytics &amp; visualization, effective communication and problem-solving skills are key. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders (including customs authorities), most often managing several project parts simultaneously. You will be working very closely with the Global customs &amp; trade compliance community and centralized customs &amp; trade compliance capabilities (including global customs and trade compliance system). Additional key relationships will be with the IT community, Regional Logistics teams as well as Finance, Tax, Procurement, Manufacturing and Planning.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>Your main focus:</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Lead a team of customs and trade compliance specialists, ensuring alignment with GTC global strategy.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure compliance with applicable international trade laws, regulations, and customs licenses (including AEO). </span></li> <li><span>Own and maintain the customs &amp; trade compliance framework, SOPs, and trade management IT system. </span></li> <li><span>Provide business intelligence through global KPIs, reporting, and monitoring of regulatory changes.</span></li> <li><span>Identify and drive opportunities for simplification of customs processes and duty management optimization.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span>YOU ARE A COTY FIT</span></p> <p><strong><span> </span></strong></p> <p><span>You bring experience from working in a matrix organization (FMCG is an advantage), with an excellent understanding of Customs and its connection with supply chain in a broader perspective (from sourcing to delivering). Demonstrate strong analytical, innovation, and fact-based problem-solving skills with an end-to-end mindset, lead a team in alignment with company strategy and goals, and apply effective influencing and negotiation skills in complex environments. You also get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.
