The Opportunity:

To transition effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization such as through a merger or split-up, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their business and mission, and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies. 

That’s why we need you, a program analyst who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As a program analyst on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. 

On our team, you’ll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders, engineers, analysts, and support staff to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward with leadership, senior decision-makers, and your client.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience in the Federal government, professional services, or Federal consulting environment

• 2+ years of experience writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence or material to support decision-making

• 2+ years of experience with technical writing

• Experience as an action officer at the director level or below

• Ability to edit written communications and effectively collaborate with subject matter experts

• Ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Access

• Experience as a DoD action officer

• Experience with the DoD’s Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)

• Experience facilitating meetings such as working groups and conferences, and associated pre- and post-meeting activities

• Knowledge of DoD operational and administrative chains of command, including relationships between the various Offices of the Military Services, and Defense Agencies and Field Activities

• Possession of excellent organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
