We are looking for a Production Technician I to join our Care Chemicals (EM) team in East Setauket, NY.

As a Production Technician I you will be supporting the production department by performing all cleaning, and preparation duties as well as assisting in Pre-weigh functions in accordance with written and verbal procedures. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of the work area with respect to department standards, policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). This position will be providing support to all production areas to include mechanical and facility support ensuring ensure production scheduling is met.

During your X-hour shift as a Production Technician I (East Setauket, NY), you will...

 

• Participate in all site safety programs.
• Perform cleaning of process equipment.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, and cleaning of process equipment.
• Perform cleaning of production areas.
• Remove and compact production refuse.
• Clean and sanitize product containers.
• Assist in pre-weigh of raw materials, and packing of finished product.
• Support production department as required and assigned.
• Assist in completion of production PMs.
• Submitting maintenance work orders as needed.

If you have...

 

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer navigation skills.
• Experience working in a production environment (preferred).
• Mechanical dexterity (preferred).
