Pharmacy Student Intern

Overview: Pharmacy Student Intern / Part Time Technician maintains a foundation of knowledge in pharmacy calculations, basic pharmacology, health-system pharmacy operations, pharmacy law and interpersonal communication. Performs pharmacy-related functions under the direction of a pharmacist and in compliance with department policies and procedures to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. Responsible for ensuring medications are accurately compounded, dispensed, and delivered. Receives, stocks, and orders medications and supplies for the pharmacy department.
Education: Actively enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree program (Year P1 or above)
Licensure: Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (IL Department of Professional Regulation)
Work Shift: 1-2 evening shifts/week (5-hour shifts), every other weekend (8-hour shifts, alternating day & evening hours)
