About the role

Title:

Senior Program Analyst

KBR Is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join our Team. It this role, you will serve on a contractor technical team providing aircraft analytics and maintenance planning to NAVAIR and FRCSW in support of in-service and modification/acquisition programs on aircraft, including all F/A-18 aircraft.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains internal/external supplier/customer interface with regular communication.

  • Monitors performance metrics, performs trend analysis and takes mitigating action to meet performance objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepares and reviews the Aviation Equipment Consolidated Allowance Lists for Commander Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic and Pacific shore and fleet units.

  • Recommends modification changes to ensure the aircraft’s Full Mission Capability for range, depth support, and deck load configurations.

 

Functional Description

  • Provides guidance and supervision for NAVAIR and fleet managers in performing aircraft planning and management functions in support of in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and SE programs.  

  • Reviews recommended changes from fleet and other activities, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Site Activation Schedules, Weapon Systems Planning Documents, Navy Training Plans, Production Training and Support Equipment schedules and independent technical investigations.

  • Provides support and participates in the preparation, coordination, operation, and post evaluation of Integrated Support Management Team reviews, Readiness Improvement Program Reviews, Integrated Product Team (IPT),

  • Maintenance Engineering reviews and other technical meetings.

  • Manages the efforts of assigned personnel.  

  • Prepare lessons learned for process improvement for new acquisition programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field with 5 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, 13 years of experience.

  • Must have Microsoft office experience (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL), and computer skills/aptitude to use and understand this position’s required unique computer applications.  

  • Must have an active secret security clearance.

Basic Compensation Range:

$106,800 - $160,300

Note:

This range is based only for the San Diego, CA area**

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
