<p><em>“This position is under the umbrella of “Data Solution and Analytics” department, which is a part of the Digital Manufacturing function in Advanced Manufacturing engineering, where you will be part of the connectivity team, working with your peers on acquiring data from machines, which is used in the development of various analytical solutions as analysis, dashboards and Artificial intelligence (AI). You will be also working closely with the data team members and production team on spotting the problems in production and brainstorming on how they can be solved by use of data. These solutions are geared towards supporting manufacturing excellence. <p>What is the job about? <br/>
As a Senior Connectivity Technician, you will work on capturing data from PLCs, sensors, and tools. You will be contributing to the development projects as well as to the data roll-out projects by delivering technical solutions on the connectivity, PLCs and sensors.</p>
<p>Also, the job includes visualization of data by building real-time front-end solutions. </p>
<p>Your main responsibilities: </p>
<ul>
<li>Making line assessments and gathering knowledge about machines like designs and programs, processes, and protocols;</li>
<li>Being part of data delivery specification with the data team and production;</li>
<li>Connecting equipment to the data platform and ensuring raw data from the machine is established with a pickup point;</li>
<li>Working closely with Data Engineers in creating data models and delivering data to Data Analysts and Data Scientists;</li>
<li>Finding solution on connectivity (retrofit);</li>
<li>Finding potential problems in manufacturing/machine where performance can be optimized by the use of data;</li>
<li>Participating in problem-solving workshops with Data Analysts and Production;</li>
<li>Working together with Data Analysts on providing the required data, programming logic, finding potential causes, etc.;</li>
<li>Specifying project requirements from colleagues in production;</li>
<li>Designing user interfaces based on personal aesthetic ideology;</li>
<li>Setting requirements for Data Engineers and aligning with production;</li>
<li>Developing, delivering, and maintaining standardized and customized dashboards (mainly real-time).</li>
</ul>

Your background<br/>
We imagine that you have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical school degree;</li>
<li>Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio5000;</li>
<li>Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming, step7, TIA Portal;</li>
<li>Knowledge of JavaScript or C# language will be considered as a plus;</li>
<li>Knowledge of communication protocol, Fieldbus, OPC, MQTT, Modbus, and open protocol will be considered as a plus;</li>
<li>Knowledge of PowerBI and Grafana will be considered as a plus;</li>
<li>Fluency in Danish and English.</li>
