Manager, Account Team, Corporate Practice

Golin is hiring an experienced Manager with strong corporate reputation expertise across internal and external communication audiences and channels. We are looking for a dynamic and driven team member to craft messages and bylines, develop internal comms and employee engagement plans and provide communications counsel for a roster of historic and iconic global brands.

 

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the work and building trust and confidence with clients and teammates as a collaborative partner.  

 

What You’ll Do:

• Help develop programs that support client business goals and provide a high standard of client service
• Write, review and edit bylines, messages, speeches, messages, internal communications and social media posts.
• Develop integrated communication strategies and tactics
• Help manage the content development and production for client deliverables
• Provide outstanding client counsel to all client levels on a regular basis, thriving in a hands-on, collaborative environment
• Provide effective counsel (written and verbal), manage expectations against results, troubleshoot and be proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities, and ensure flawless execution of day-to-day client activities.
• Help to manage account planning, reporting, budgets, resource management and client satisfaction/feedback

What You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field with 4+ years’ experience
• Must have worked in an agency in a client-facing role and welcome in-house corporate communications background  
• Financial services and B2B tech, as well transformation and change management corporate experience a plus
• Passion for client service and an ability to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities
• Proven ability to contribute to the development of integrated ideas/business solutions
• Creative problem-solver and storyteller with superior writing skills, with the ability to develop and edit high-quality materials ranging from client-facing POVs to press releases to bylines
• Background developing and executing corporate reputation programs, including corporate positioning, internal communications and executive communications
• Ability to partner with teams to execute and measure multifaceted campaigns and day-to-day communications initiatives
• A strong understanding of traditional media, and ability to integrate campaign strategies and tactics across earned, owned and paid media
• Demonstrated expertise in employee communications and engagement, employer brand/workplace reputation, organizational transformation, corporate culture, and others
• Knowledge and interest around workforce and employee engagement trends to guide clients through these topics. 
• Poised and calm under pressure and a desire to immerse yourself in a client's business to become a true partner
• Believer in a strong workplace culture, and will advocate for and contribute to efforts that enhance the environment for all
