About the role

Head of Business Operations, TW&A
This job serves as a strategic partner and operational leader ensuring seamless execution of TW&A CEO's priorities, while complementing the enterprise-wide administrative leadership provided by the CAO. This role focuses on managing business operations for the TW&A CEO and CEO-specific strategic projects, while facilitating cross-functional alignment. Additionally, this role serves as the operational hub of the CEO's office, responsible for managing the CEO's strategic priorities and information flow.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conducts strategic analysis on business opportunities and risks.
  • Prepares executive briefings and decision memos.
  • Identifies emerging issues that require TW&A CEO attention or intervention.
  • Supports the TW&A CEO's role as culture champion and drives organizational health and effectiveness initiatives.
  • Supports leadership development and succession planning processes and culture initiatives.
  • Facilitates town halls and employee engagement forums. Monitors organizational health metrics and employee sentiment.
  • Manages the cadence and effectiveness of executive leadership meetings and ensures follow-through on TW&A CEO commitments and decisions.
  • Synthesizes market trends, competitive intelligence, and internal performance metrics.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor who anticipates needs, identifies emerging issues, and creates leverage for the TW&A CEO's time and attention
  • Facilitates collaboration, serving as a liaison between the TW&A CEO and business unit leaders, functional executives, and key stakeholders.
  • Convenes cross-functional working groups to solve complex business challenges.
  • Breaks down silos to accelerate strategic initiatives. Represents the TW&A CEO in internal forums when appropriate. Builds credibility and influence without direct authority.
  • Working closely with Corporate Communications, shapes key TW&A CEO communications.
  • Crafts talking points and presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Ensures consistent messaging across leadership channels.
  • Serves as an analytical thought partner to the TW&A CEO, providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 8+ Years Required; 10+ Years Preferred

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • 8+ years of business operations and/or strategic process design experience  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 10+ years’ experience working for a large management consulting firm or internal corporate/business strategy function at a large financial service institution.
  • Previous experience with senior executive engagement
  • Previous experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Track record of execution and driving results
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet agreed upon deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to manage and develop a large matrix organization working closely with other senior management to build an effective and efficient organization
  • Critical thinker and self-starter who is willing to work proactively to identify key business opportunities and work across teams to drive results
  • Organized, high-energy individual capable of working in a fast-paced and fluid environment; understanding of when to operate with urgency and/or escalate matters
  • Strong relationship management, presentation and communications skills that establish trust, credibility and respect

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2026-02-16

Base Pay Range: $180,000/yr - $230,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
