Position Overview:
The WXP Technology Advocacy Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and engagement of WXP and Digital services. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of the WXP Technology Advocacy Team, this individual will work closely with technical communities, industry analysts, and internal teams to promote the product, gather feedback, and support user needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering relationships within the technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee and manage advocacy programs aimed at promoting WXP and Digital services, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with technical communities, gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and supporting user needs.
- Content Creation: Produce technical content, including documentation, guides, best practices, and case studies, to support user engagement and adoption.
- Training and Education: Organize and lead training sessions, webinars, and workshops to educate users and internal teams on the product's features and benefits.
- Market and PR Engagement: Collaborate with the Sr. Manager to develop and execute PR strategies, including securing coverage in industry-leading publications like Gartner and Forrester.
- Event Participation: Represent WXP and Digital services at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, showcasing the product's capabilities and benefits.
- Feedback Loop: Act as a conduit for user feedback, ensuring that the product development team is aware of user needs, pain points, and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a cohesive strategy for product promotion and adoption.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and inform strategic decisions.
- Sales Enablement: Assist in the creation of sales enablement materials and provide technical support during the sales process.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, product management, technical sales or a related field (MBA preferred) or relevant experience
- 8+ years of experience in technology advocacy, market engagement, SaaS product management, or related roles within the technology sector.
