The role

We are currently recruiting a Production Supervisor to join the IPL team in Shelbyville, Ky. Reporting to OPS Manager this is a demanding role for an ambitious and dynamic professional with drive, determination, and the desire to work in a highly commercial and growth-focused environment. Provides indirect/direct supervision over the shift operators and over a group of cells or machines to meet daily safety, quality, and production targets.

As a Production Supervisor at IPL, you will:

• Train and coach production line employees.
• Ensures solid two-way communication amongst team and with other management.
• Oversee production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Conduct daily shift meetings.
• Responsible for meeting shift production goals.
• Responsible for quality control and adjust as necessary during shifts to ensure high quality products.
• Operate within defined procedures and Job Safety requirements.
• Safe housekeeping standards are always maintained to ensure a clean and safe working area.
• Responsible for providing a daily report for oncoming supervision.
• Ensure that all production reports, purchase requisitions and accident/incident reports are properly completed.
• Other duties as assigned.
