Are you a night owl looking for an impactful manufacturing opportunity? Join our dynamic team in Danvers, MA, as a Production Coordinator III in the Extrusion department, where you will play a vital role in coordinating and optimizing production activities during the 3rd shift.

This position offers the chance to manage production schedules, ensure material availability, and collaborate with team leaders, supervisors, and planners within a highly regulated medical manufacturing environment.

With your extensive knowledge and experience, you will help achieve production goals, ensure cost efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Schedule: 3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:15 AM, Sunday through Thursday

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Coordinating production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations during the 3rd shift
  • Monitoring production schedules and making adjustments based on dynamic conditions and operator availability
  • Communicating with team leaders, supervisors, and planners to resolve production issues and ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintaining schedules for material requirements and availability to support production control
  • Compiling records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production
  • Expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules
  • Assisting in determining possible and actual shortages and initiating action to correct deficiencies
  • Using knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action
  • Estimating and logging production rate and time expenditures, and establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates
  • Maintaining accurate records of production data and preparing reports for management
  • Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Working with other coordinators on different shifts, as well as buyers and planners

Minimum Requirements (Must Have):

  • Minimum 4 years related work experience
  • Prior work experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions without continuous supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with computers, including spreadsheets, and inventory management programs such as SAP or equivalent.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Team lead experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree, certification, or prior coursework in business administration, supply chain, or a related field
