About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage all aspects of task order performance, to include staffing, project management, procurement, quality assurance, document and information management, and facilities management. Lead innovation and continuous improvements of all activities, including cross team coordination. Assist the Government in continual strategic-level discussions and planning to ensure the government client is best-positioned to execute current operations and address the Government's priorities and future challenges. This will be onsite two days a week in Washington, DC.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single management focal point and responsible for the execution of the project.
  • Build and maintain a strategic enterprise partner relationship with leadership.
  • Apprise the leadership of all significant issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide strategic guidance, vision, and direction to the project team.
  • Ensure program integration across task areas, groups, and functional/technical teams and delegate administrative, financial, and coordination duties as necessary.
  • Utilize innovative processes to plan, organize, and control activities, manage risks, and monitor performance.
  • Ensure all task areas meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Analyze significant deviations from the plan, take corrective actions, and forecast any impact on contract deliverables.
  • Oversee definition of and adherence to standard processes.
  • Oversee staffing process, including staff need forecasting.
  • Oversee staff performance, plan development, career growth, and appraisal process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MBA or MS/MA degree in Management, Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related Technical Discipline. In absence of a Master's degree, 15 years of directly relatable experience is considered.
  • PMP certification or comparable/equivalent substitutions required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with at least five years as a Program or Project Manager for large (over $20M) contracts, complex major systems development, acquisitions, and/or systems engineering and integration efforts.
  • Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in systems design, cybersecurity, software development, and web technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 13 years of experience with at least six years as a Program or Project Manager for large (over $20M) contracts, complex major systems development, acquisitions, and/or systems engineering and integration efforts.
  • MBA or MS/MA degree in Management, Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related Technical Discipline. In absence of a Master's degree
