As a Senior Analyst, you will partner with the Business Development team to achieve growth, provide data insights, and develop data driven strategies in B2B2C relationships. As a "full stack" analyst, you will analyze Partner facing products and Partner business performance through research, forecasting, and metric/report designing. Partnerships growth is a top initiative and your access to data and exposure to senior leaders will allow you to have a meaningful impact on the business at large. You are expected to be an independent thinker who seeks out opportunities and challenges Root’s current methods.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 (Bonus and LTI Eligible)

How You Will Make an Impact

• Leverage internal and third party data to proactively identify opportunities to refine our growth strategies

• Construct reporting ETL and processes using SQL

• Maintain and elevate existing internal reporting and dashboarding for independent agents and partnerships

• Communicate results and performance directly to senior leadership

• Work cross functionally to answer ad hoc questions regarding performance and anomalies

• Work with Business Development and Product to design rigorous testing methodologies and strategies

• Foster an attitude of ownership mentality
   

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field

• 3+ years of analytics or data science experience in a business environment

• 1+ years experience working in B2B or B2B2C business preferred

• Insurance experience preferred, particularly in property & casualty

• Top-notch storytelling skills and an ability to influence stakeholders

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Relentless focus on business outcomes

• Comfort in pushing the status quo and utilizing cutting-edge analytical techniques

• Thrives in a fast-paced and “gritty” work environment, prioritizing and executing on the most critical projects

• “Roll up your sleeves” mentality

• Expert in SQL - able to write structured and efficient queries on large and complicated data sets

• Excited about working with complex data and solving complex problems

• Superior teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
