Administrative Assistant I - Office of Curricular Affairs

The Administrative Assistant for the Office of Curricular Affairs is responsible for providing administrative, operational and programmatic support services to the Office of Curricular Affairs. This role is fully onsite.

• Supports Curriculum Coordinators with preparatory work for course sessions as well as onsite delivery. 
• Coordinates room reservations for all learning spaces. 
• Maintains calendars of key team members of Office of Curricular Affairs and sends out reminders of impending appointments. 
• Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for team members.
• Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings. 
• Assists in the planning and overseeing significant events such as curriculum retreats, faculty development sessions, etc. 
• Assists in managing the budget for special and routine events. 
• Makes reservations for various off-site meetings. 
• Assists in maintaining systems and processes such as sharepoint, google drive, etc. 
• Acts as a liaison between different departments.
• Assists with communications to staff, faculty, and students. 
• Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings. 
• Reserves equipment and conference rooms for presentations and in-office meetings. 
• Creates presentation materials using computer software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

• Associates Degree required; Bachelors preferred
• Minimum of two years of related experience as an administrative assistant

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $22.10 - $36.37 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
