Maintenance Supervisor

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
• Work on assigned projects
• Fabricate and install new equipment
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Work with vendors/suppliers to order equipment parts and tools
• Work with contractors to organize work that cannot be performed by maintenance personnel 
• Create JSA's as needed
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Standing up to 12 hours daily 
• Walking up to 12 hours daily 
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily 
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily. 
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly 
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Travel less than 10%

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with the use of shop tools.
• A forklift license is preferred.
• Ability to read precision gauges.
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required. 
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to read drawings, instructions, or repair and assembly operations.
