Join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>In Ireland, our Future Mobility team is 40 people strong. This is supported by collaborative work with transport designers, sustainability advisers, environmental specialists, buildings and development infrastructure professionals in a team of 600 strong on the island of Ireland. As a global business, we work closely with our colleagues in Britain – sharing ideas, knowledge and best practice in a team of 500 transport consultants. Internationally, AECOM has one global team – 47,000 strong – where you are certain to find like-minded individuals.  Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity. </p><p> </p><p>AECOM continues to expand their successful and established Infrastructure Development team in Ireland and require a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Dublin office. Our established Development Infrastructure team currently has a vacancy for a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in development work.</p><p> </p><p>The opportunity is based in AECOM’s Dublin office, the team has an established track record of successfully delivering development infrastructure schemes both locally and across Ireland and the U.K. Our wide range of clients includes developers, retailers, landowners, housebuilders, blue-chip companies, and Universities. AECOM’s Development Infrastructure team in Ireland has consistently expanded in recent years. Our current portfolio of works comprises a diverse mix of local and national development and civil infrastructure projects at all stages, from Feasibility through to Detailed Design and Construction, carrying some of the following:</p><ul><li>Drainage design including SuDS design and flood risk management</li><li>Infrastructure design such as drainage, water supply and utiltiies</li><li>Road and pavement design</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.</li><li>Experience in using relevant industry-standard software including Microdrainage and AutoCAD (2D).</li><li>Experience in undertaking the hydraulic analysis and design for surface water and foul sewer drainage systems for development projects including catchmnet analysis and flood risk assessments.</li><li>Experience in designing water supply networks for development projects.</li><li>Experience in overseeing the development of detail designs and the production of documentation including design drawings (where applicable 3D applications) and reports.</li><li>Experience of working in a multidisciplinary design team, and capable of effectively liaising with architects, planning consultants, and external consultants.</li><li>Experienced in undertaking site inspections, test witnessing and reporting on same, and answering technical RFIs during construction.</li><li>Experience in the supervision of Junior Engineers and Technicians.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in using relevant industry-standard software including InfoDrainage and Civil3D.</li><li>Chartered Engineer or nearing chartered status.</li><li>Project Management Skills.</li><li>Fee proposal and bid submission preparation, or input to.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>About AECOM</strong></p><p>AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
