Parallel Employment is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join a Cheektowaga food manufacturing client.

Wage: $22-$26/hour based on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our Food Manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards throughout the production process. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine inspections of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products
• Conducting sensory evaluations and laboratory tests
• Monitoring production processes and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures
• Identifying and addressing any quality issues or deviations
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation

Requirements

• Prior experience in quality control and food manufacturing environment preferred

• Knowledge of quality control procedures and best practices
• Experience with BRCGS, SQF, or IFS auditing schemes
• HACCP training and/or a PCQI certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
