Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures

 

Position Overview: (Employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of working for TE Connectivity!)

 

• Running up to 12 braiders in the braiding department 
• Employee must be productive, accountable, responsible and have good attendance 

 

 

Responsibilities:   

 

• Set machine by following Manufacturing System (MS) guidelines.
• Troubleshoots, adjusts, and repairs. (This would include adjustments and all aspects of machine changeovers, set-ups, and tooling.)
• Completes necessary operational paperwork.
• Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and immediate area in accordance with company housekeeping, safety, environmental, and lean manufacturing guidelines. 
• Follow company and department guidelines, procedures, and policies.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned. 

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:   

 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills.  
• Basic math skills. 
• Ability to lift at 35 pounds. 
• Proficient with using measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, scale) 
• Basic use of hand tools (crescent wrench, Allen wrench, screwdriver)
• Must clear background and drug screening to receive job offer.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $45,760 – $49,920 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
