Job Description:

The Role: Gift Shop Coordinator

The Coordinator assists with the daily operations of the gift shop including receiving, stocking, display, customer service, and sales of giftshop merchandise.

The Opportunity:

MaineGeneral Health is currently seeking an exceptional Coordinator to join our Gift Shop team. MaineGeneral is a leading health care system that is proud of the culture of excellence, compassion and collaboration that extends to our patients and their families.

The Work:

• Greets customers and assists with purchase selections
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit card and debit card and issues receipts, change, credits or refunds to customers using computerized cash register
• Assists with the monitoring, receipt, and storage of inventory, restocking of shelves, and display designs that reflect seasonal, category, and population-specific interests and trends as needed
• Assists with assessment of quality of services and goods provided to evaluate opportunities for promoting sales and marketing

You Have:

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work well with others
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
• Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills
