Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior Administrative Specialist within our Environmental Dredging and Restoration Division, located at the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore, MD.This position provides on-site administrative support services to the MPA Office of Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability (OESS). This support would include, but is not limited to, scheduling and preparing for meetings, maintaining calendars, tracking and assisting with MPA damage claims management, compiling monthly subcontractor invoice packages, assisting with budget tracking, processing various forms including travel requests and expense reports, Port Operations and Security System entries, submittal requests, and other administrative tasks as directed by MPA OESS. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
Estimated Pay Range:
$48,301.85 – $66,414.31

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from high school or GED plus five years of administrative or professional experience. Applicants may substitute completion of administrative, business management or financial courses for up to one year of the required experience. Additional requirements include the ability to pass a standard physical examination, ability to lift 25 pounds, ability to pass a background check to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge and possession of a valid driver’s license with less than 5 points. The preferred candidate will have familiarity/experience with Microsoft 365 software.
